The central theme of the workshop is to communicate recent developments, identify new research areas, and collectively address urgent materials challenges faced by the community of quantum materials synthesis. This workshop will be an interdisciplinary forum to bring together physicists, materials scientists, chemists, both experimentalists and theorists in the quantum materials community. It will also address a need to promote educational and career opportunities for a diverse group of young scientists interested in modern materials synthesis via a wide range of techniques.
